Bill Burgess (?). American sculptor.
Burgess is an artist less than mediocre, he has become famous because of his successful work "Continuum", a work that owes most of its allure to dimensions, if it were comparable to the human height it would be nothing more than a rip-off of the many works of Calder, Hepworth, Pevsner, Brancusi, or Moore. Most of his works are trivial and they add little or nothing to the formal search of the other well-known sculptors. He was lucky enough to live and work in America, so it was easier to get commissions.
