Christo Vladimirov Javachev (1935-). Bulgarian artist.
This is one of his many installations, but this time the dimensions are geographical: surrounding with polypropylene fabric eleven islands in Miami's Biscayne Bay. An installation extremely expensive. An installation whose purpose is again to "isolate" the object, following his concept of "estrangement" or "concealment". The question is: was it worth it? I really don't think so.
